Terms
Terms of use.
These terms set the practical rules for using Thabit. The service is still in development and is not open for public sign-up.
The service
Thabit is a memorisation companion for deliberate repetition, recall, and review. Features may differ between releases and platforms. Public pages may describe the product direction; they are not a promise that every described feature is currently available.
Your account
You are responsible for using accurate account information, protecting access to your sign-in method, and notifying us if you believe the account has been compromised. Do not share authentication codes. You may request full account deletion at any time.
Thabit is designed for adult students. If local law requires permission for you to use an online service, you must have that permission before creating an account.
Study guidance and recitation feedback
Thabit supports personal study; it does not replace a qualified teacher or scholar. Method labels and numeric defaults remain provisional unless Thabit expressly records qualified review. Automated recitation feedback, if introduced, may be incomplete or wrong and must not be treated as a ruling on tajweed, qira'at, or the correctness of religious practice.
Quran content will be made available only after its source, version, integrity, and permission to redistribute have been verified. Report any suspected text or metadata issue instead of relying on the affected display.
Acceptable use
- Do not probe, disrupt, overload, or bypass security and rate limits.
- Do not access another person's account or submit data without permission.
- Do not misuse the service to build a competing corpus or violate content licences.
- Do not upload unlawful, harmful, or rights-infringing material.
We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect users or the service.
Changes and availability
We may change, pause, or discontinue beta features and may update these terms as the service develops. Material changes will be reflected by an updated date and, where appropriate, an in-product notice. The service is provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability or a particular memorisation outcome.
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada, without preventing you from relying on mandatory consumer rights that apply where you live.
