Account deletion
Delete your Thabit account.
You can initiate deletion inside Thabit or request it here if the app is no longer available to you. Deletion is permanent after it completes.
Delete in the app
- Open Thabit and go to Settings.
- Find the Delete account section.
- Select Delete account and complete both confirmation steps.
The app signs out and removes account-linked local data as part of the deletion flow.
Request deletion without the app
Send a deletion request to admin@smallworld.ca from the email connected to your Thabit account. The link opens a pre-filled request you can review before sending.
Never include your password, sign-in code, voice recordings, or other sensitive data.
What the request covers
A completed account deletion removes the account and associated application data, including:
- profile, language, settings, and study-plan data;
- practice sessions, events, progress, activity, and review history;
- registered devices, push tokens, and notification preferences.
Thabit does not currently collect production voice recordings or derived transcripts. This page and the deletion implementation must be updated and tested before any release stores them.
After account data is removed, Thabit retains a one-way pseudonymous deletion-reconciliation record containing status and timestamps so interrupted provider cleanup can be verified or retried. It does not contain your account email or practice history. No automatic expiry is implemented for that record yet. Other narrow records may be kept where legally required.
Identity verification and completion
To prevent unauthorised deletion, we may ask you to verify control of the account or its email address. We will explain any required step through the support thread. If an external identity provider requires separate action, we will identify it; uninstalling Thabit alone does not delete the account.
